We visit the Brown v Board of Education National Historic Site and see how the facility is commemorating 60 years of the landmark US Supreme Court court case that desegregated American schools, take a drive to Iola, KS, to learn about the Bowlus Arts Center’s 50th anniversary; and meet Dan Thalmann, a newspaper publisher in Washington, KS, who feels the newspaper business is an important way to document a community as a legacy for future generations.
